Title of work refers to those medieval works contained in manuscripts and editions, e.g. Magnus Eriksson's law of the realm, Erik's Chronicle. Also included here are certain general indications (prayers, collections of sermons, provincial laws, etc.), where several works are involved. Select TITLES OF WORKS in the main menu for a complete list.
Subject of publication refers to the content of the publication as a literary resource and includes personal names (kings, saints, subjects of festschrifts) and place names. You can thus search for S. Birgitta and retrieve works that handle St Bridget (literature written by St Bridget is searched in the usual way on author name).
