Subject key

As an aid to the subject search under "Literary resources" in the Old Swedish bibliography a set of subjects is provided (in the left-hand column), and the category or categories that the publications on these subjects can be searched under (in the right-hand column). Note that the subject words do not derive from any classification system or scientific taxonomy. Note also that one publication can be given several classifications.

The categories of the search subjects are principally derived from Geete and Collijn, and refer to subject-specific content rather than theory or discipline affiliation.
